Founded in 1995 as an Independent Baptist Bible college with current enrollment of over 900 students. They offer graduate and undergraduate degrees in Pastoral studies, evangelism, missions, church ministries, music, Christian education, youth ministry, and secretarial studies. With its 80-acre campus in Lancaster California, it is the largest school of the church west of the Mississippi River.

WCBC has a men's basketball program and a ladies volleyball program. They are a member of the Association of Christian College Athletics (ACCA) and Pacific Christian Athletic Conference. They sponsor many social activities to enhance student life for singles and married students.
