Situated on the coast of the Pacific Ocean, Cambria has dramatic rocky cliffs and beaches. There are many hotels and bed & breakfasts, especially on Moonstone Beach Drive.

Cambria is located approximately six miles south of Hearst Castle and fifteen miles south of the Northern Elephant Seal rookery at Piedras Blancas. One of the more interesting places in Cambria is a uniquely personalized cemetery located at 6005 Bridge Street and detailed further here.

Cambria offers a variety of recreational activities. The Fiscalini Ranch offers opportunities for bicycling, dog walking, or hiking. Local beaches offer a venue to boogie board, surf, skimboard or relax. Ocean fishing is conducted off area beaches. Local kayak fishing tours are available.

San Simeon California
While tourism lodging dominates this coastal strip town, San Simeon has many fine restaurants, gift shops, and miles of raw unspoiled beaches. Recreational resources include famous Pico Creek surf spot, ocean fishing, arrow head hunting and of course beach walking.

San Simeon State Park
Location: Two miles north of Cambria along Coast Highway (SR-1);
One of the oldest units of the California State Park System famed for the coastal bluffs and promontories of the scenic park offer unobstructed views of the ocean and rocky shore.

Cambria is home to California State Historical Landmark No 939: Nitt Witt Ridge. Cambria has been used as a fictional town in several shows and movies.
