Only state park where vehiciles drive onto the beach sand. Over 5.5 miles of beachfront for popular activities such as surfing, swimming, surf fishing, horseback riding, nature trails, camping and bird watching.
Oceano Dunes Preserve - a region of tall sand hills where vehicles are prohibited, and you can wander for miles. Often referred to as the Nipomo Dunes these days, they extend 18 miles from the northern end of Oceano Dunes to Pt. Sal State Beach.
Guadalupe-Nipomo Dunes Preserve - National Preserve of the second largest sand dunes ecosystem in California. Includes 18 miles of protected coastline and wildlife refuge.
