Welcome to Shell Beach

Shell Beach is a small cliff-top community overlooking the Pacific Ocean just west of Pismo Beach. Best vistas of the Pacific Ocean are had from the gazebo in Margo Dodd Park.

Bring a fishing pole, the beachfront cliffs are popular for fishermen who love to cast lines from this location. The park has several benches for sitting and waiting for a bite on the line. Also popular in Shell Beach is kayaking. Sports enthusiasts carry their boats down the the 100 or so steps to launch off from the beach.

Pismo Beach California
This area originally gained fame as home for the Pismo Clam, a mullosk that use to thrive in the hundreds of thousands along the beaches here. Local groves are the winter home to thousands of Monarch Butterflies, some of which come from as far as Canada.
