The city of Clearlake (pop: 13,200) is located at the southeast tip of Clear Lake in Lake County, California.
The Clearlake post office opened in 1923, changed its name to Clearlake Park in 1937, and changed it back in 1980 when Clearlake incorporated.

Anderson Marsh State Historic Park - Clearlake CA
This is a large park preserving the native ancestral home of the ancient Pomo indians who lived here nearly 10,000 years ago.
The park also has a number of nature trails to explore the surrounding grass-covered hills, oak woodlands and tule marsh.
Other highlights include the historic Anderson Ranch and the annual Bluegrass Festival held the second weekend of September.
