Clear Lake State Park - Kelseyville CA
Several fishing organizations call Clear Lake the number one Bass Fishing site in the nation. There are also catfish, blackfish, Sacramento perch, hitch, crappie and bluegill. There are also nature trails to an ancient indian village site and waterfowl nesting areas.

Anderson Marsh State Historic Park - Clear Lake CA
This is a large park preserving the native ancestral home of the ancient Pomo indians who lived here nearly 10,000 years ago. The park also has a number of nature trails to explore the surrounding grass-covered hills, oak woodlands and tule marsh. Other highlights include the historic Anderson Ranch and the annual Bluegrass Festival held the second weekend of September.
