Welcome to Ukiah

Ukiah is the county seat and largest city of Mendocino County, California.

Hops were once a predominant crop grown around Ukiah and a refurbished hop kiln can be seen at the north end of Ukiah east of Highway 101 where many of the old fields were. Much of Ukiah's early population was supported by the lumber boom of the late 1940s, with the logging of redwood being a major industry.

The track is a one-quarter mile asphalt oval with moderate banking. The straights are long and the turns tight providing a balance to the challenges of power and handling.

Also offers one of the most popular "Outlaw Go-Kart" racing series in Northern California. The Kart dirt oval track is right next to the auto speedway and runs a Spring/Summer series. A Winter series is also run at our indoor dirt oval Lakeport facility in Lake County.

Since 2000, the NSRA has been a private licensing and sanctioning body for racers at the Ukiah Speedway, owned and managed by the Ukiah Speedway management.
