California Inland Empire Council [CIEC]

The Boy Scouts of America has been serving youth of the Riverside and San Bernardino Counties since at least 1918. California Inland Empire Council was formed in 1973 through the merger of the Arrowhead Area, Grayback and Riverside Councils. In 2006, a portion of the Old Baldy Council merged into the California Inland Empire Council.

1120 Acre high desert facility located on Potosi Mountain, 25 miles west of Las Vegas. Daytime temperatures at least 20 degrees cooler than in the Las Vegas Valley. Camp Potosi has over four miles of roads, eleven miles of hiking trails, 70 troop campsites, latrines, washstands, two shower buildings, swimming pool, well and water storage system, activity shelters, camp office trailer, trading post, large amphitheater, canoeing pond, rappelling tower, Indian Village, Trail to First Class Program Area, provisional Troop, and Serenity Hall.

Del Webb High Adventure Base LVAC

This High Adventure Camp located in the Manti LaSalle Mountains near Zion National Park in southern Utah is designed for older scouts. Units hike into outpost areas carrying a five to six days supply of food and their gear. Some of the features are mountain man camp, Indian village, black powder, backpacking, mountain bikes, canoeing, sailing and windsurfing, rappelling, homesteading, and rock climbing. Zion treks are also offered and are sure to be a highlight of any week.
