A 250-acre campus is located at the base of majestic Mount Shasta in the historic town of Weed, the College of the Siskiyous gives students a truely magnificent setting for their studies.

The College is widely recognized for its excellent programs in the humanities and arts, the sciences and technology, and in athletics. The setting, a natural environment of mountains, forests, lakes, and streams, serves as an outdoor workshop for many classes such as art, geology, the life sciences, and physical and recreational education.

COS is the northernmost of California's public two-year community colleges. It first opened to students in 1959 and today serves 3000 students.
