San Diego Chargers - NFL [AUG-JAN]
The Chargers were one of the original eight teams of the AFL founded in 1960.
In the years since then, the Chargers have made seven trips to the playoffs and three appearances in the
AFC Championship game. At the end of the 1994 season, the Chargers faced the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl XXIX and fell 49-26.

A former working ranchero, once owned by Leo Carrillo, today guests can
leisurely follow the trails and experience the buildings and landscape of what remains of the ranch.
The ranch itself is secluded within the mature tropical and native landscape of a broad coastal canyon.
It served as a retreat to actor, philanthropist, poet, preservationist, and rancher, Leo Carrillo from 1937 to 1961.
The facility is available to host weddings and special events.
Quail Botanical Gardens
The only botanical garden in San Diego County, this park has one of the world's most
diverse plant collections. Scenic trails take visitors to 20 unique gardens, a 60 foot
waterfall in a tropical rain forest and North America's largest display of bamboo.
Surrounding chaparral area serves as a natural bird refuge. San Diego visitors and residents are invited to
experience this spectacular collection of flora. Tours, nature walks, lectures,
landscape advice and instructional programs are offered.
