Spring Flowers at Quail Gardens
The only botanical garden in San Diego County, this park has one of the world's most
diverse plant collections. Scenic trails take visitors to 20 unique gardens, a 60 foot
waterfall in a tropical rain forest and North America's largest display of bamboo.
Fallbrook Avocado Festival - Late April
Annual festival held the last weekend in April featuring this major local produce item
in a big variety of edible options. Expect to see 70,000 people to descend on the streets
of Fallbrook where 350 vendors serve up samples of guacomole, avocado salsa, avocado chips,
and other delights made from the omnipresent green fruit.
Encinitas Street Fair - Late April
Annual event since 1984, this fair features over 400 arts and craft vendors and also
the 101 Artist' Colony presenting their local history artwork.
Carlsbad Village Street Fair [Early MAY]
The largest single day street fair in California. It's held on Grand Ave., one block north
of Carlsbad Village Dr. Free admission. Over 100 vendors and 70,000 people visit for these
big weekend events.
Cruisin Grand - Escondido Summer Friday Nights

Carlsbad Flower Fields [MAR-MAY]
Located on a hillside overlooking the Pacific Ocean at the junction of I-5
freeway and Palomar Airport Rd, the Flower Fields transform each year
into a giant 50-acre rainbow of country when millions of brightly
colored Ranunculus blossoms come to life. Guests experience the brilliant yellow,
orange, soft rose, pink, red and white flowers glistening in the sun.

Del Mar Fairgrounds - June
The annual fair in June for San Diego County is held at the Del Mar Fairgrounds and Racetrack. The biggest event of the year features contests,
