Street Scene San Diego - July Pop Music Festival
First started in 1984, Today, Street Scene has emerged as a premiere musical event presenting top-rated artists along with a diverse array
of musical styles. From Grammy winners to emerging artists, the event continues to preserve its reputation as the top urban music festival in the country.
The new venue outside of Qualcomm Stadium will be Street Scene's largest site to date.

Popular annual event since 1973 featuring traditional Scottish athletics, bagpiping, drumming, highland dancing.
Other events include sheep dog trials, country dancing, free celtic concert.
Taste of Encinitas [AUG]
the Taste of MainStreet has become one of the largest and most successful events of its kind in San Diego County.
Participating restaurants will offer delicious samples of a vast variety of food. Guests will be treated to 30 different taste sensations.
Carlsbad Music Festival - So Carlsbad [Early Sept]
An annual weeklong alternative classical music festival featuring cutting-edge, world-class young musicians
performing fresh and compelling music in concert and in the community.
Julian Grape Stomp Early Sep
Visitors celebrate the harvest of the grapes with a real, olde-world style grape stomp and
festa at the Menghini Winery. The festa draws approximately 1800 people each year.
Julian Bluegrass Festival [mid-Sept]
Annual event started in 1971, this is the oldest Bluegrass Festival in California. Many of
the finest bluegrass artists today started on this stage in contests and in performances.
