Rancho Bernardo-Glassman Recreation Center

The recreation center and park are located on 40 acres which consist of an indoor gymnasium, various size rooms for meetings and rent,
play areas for young and old, eight ball fields, two outdoor basketball courts, a large outdoor gazebo, six tennis courts, lawn bowling,
and Josyln Center. There is also a two acre dog park, located at the south end of the community park.

A private, member-owned club, the Country Club of Rancho Bernardo offers an 6,532 yard, 18 hole par 72 Championship golf course designed
by William F. Bell and updated by Ted Robinson. The course is well recognized and has been the site of USGA Qualifying Tournaments.
The 20,000 square foot Mediterranean style club house is elegantly furnished and provides a
setting for formal and informal dining, dinner dances, private parties, tournament luncheons and bridge parties.

This 18-hole, par 72 championship course captivates players from the beginning to the end. An architectural masterpiece, this 6,700-yard course
was built on 168 acres nestled among the magnificent Cuyamaca Mountain Range.

- RB Alive - 1st Sunday in June - Crowds up to 25,000 and more enjoy entertainment located on two stages, arts and crafts booths, kiddieland, business showcase, food court,
- Spirit of the Fourth - July 4th - Thousands participate in the Rancho Bernardo 4th of July parade. More than 160 volunteers comprise the subcommittees working to produce this all-day pageant which includes a day of games and food concessions in Webb Park.

Rancho Bernardo Golf Course
This 18-Hole Championship Golf Course originally opened in 1962 and recently underwent a complete renovation to
ensure that it will continue to present a modern challenge for today's Golfer.
The Rancho Bernardo Inn Golf Course sets in a peaceful valley backdrop complete with tree-lined fairways.
Kit Carson Park - South Escondido
The park sits in a valley that is approximately five miles west of where Kit Carson fought in the Battle of San Pasqual.
A historical monument commemorating the battle is located on Mule Hill, one mile southeast of the park.
One hundred acres of the park have been developed and 185 acres have been preserved as natural habitat.
Park features include several hiking trails, 5-acre arboretum, ball fields, tennis courts and 3 ponds.
Lake Poway Recreation Area
Lake Poway offers year-round fishing for several species of fish including trout, bass, catfish, sunfish and bluegill.
You can fish from shore or from a rental boat. Lake Poway offers a fish cleaning station and restroom facilities.
Bait, tackle, State Fishing licenses, lake permits and delicious food items
and refreshments are available at the Lake Poway Concession.
