Carlsbad Swim Complex
The Swim Complex includes the 25 yard by 25 meter pool, two 1-meter diving boards,
a 3-meter diving board, a shallow play area and access ramp, six sets of bleachers and plenty of deck space.
San Diego Youth Aquatic Center
BSA Aquatics Summer Camp on Mission Bay
Located in Mission Bay at the San Diego Youth Aquatic Center - this facility
hosts weeklong summer camp programs for visiting boy scout troops with classes in
Sailing, Boardsailing, Motorboating, Kayaking, Model Rocketry, Swimming, Oceanography and other
classes not available at a typical boyscout mountain camp.

UCSD Recreation Department
Informal Recreation is time allotted for participation in an unstructured recreation activity, be it basketball, volleyball, racquetball, squash, tennis, weight lifting, swimming, etc.
Aquatic Centers - serve UCSD students and community with a variety of offerings.
There are two pool facilities, the Canyonview 50 meter by 25 yard Olympic style pool and the indoor 6-lane Natatorium.
MBAC - Mission Bay Aquatic Center - one of the largest collegiate instructional waterfront facilities in the country.
Mission Bay Park
Miles of bayside shoreline with facilities for picnicking, boating, camping and fishing.
Popular watersport activities include sailing, water-skiing, swimming, wind-surfing and jetbikes.
Mission Beach Plunge
The historic Plunge Swimming Pool was built in 1925 as part of Belmont Amusement Park
and includes the Wave House and Surf School.
Tour Carlsbad Beaches & Lagoons
This San Diego beach features swimming, surfing, skin diving, fishing and picnicking. The large bluff-top campground is
very popular, especially in summer. There area also three major wetland habitats.
City Beaches of Solana Beach
There are 1.7 miles of city maintained beachfront bordered on the north by Cardiff State Beach, and on the south by the City of Del Mar.
It is divided into four main Beach Parks: Fletcher Cove, Tide Beach Park, Seascape Surf, and Del Mar Shores.
These beaches provide a wide variety of recreational activities for City residents and visitors.
San Dieguito River Park
Future parkland property rich in habitat, cultural recreational and scenic values
as well as a future route for a Coast-to-Crest Trail.
San Elijo State Beach - Cardiff CA
Just south of Encinitas - features swimming, surfing and picnicking. The narrow, bluff-backed stretch of sand has a nearby reef popular with snorklers and divers.
The Cardiff Reef is located just off the mouth of San Elijo Lagoon and is a popular surfing spot.
The beach extends along Coast Highway 101, 3/4 mile north from San Elijo Lagoon's entrance channel.
This is the first California state park to feature wireless internet service.
Cardiff State Beach
Located on a gently sloping sandy beach with warm water, this site offers swimming, surfing and beachcombing.
Located next to Cardiff's Restaurant Row.
