This Boy Scout Council is big and rambunctious, offering a wide range of Scouting activities.
The Alameda Council has been serving area youth since 1915 in collaboration with local organizations like schools and churches.

Rancho Los Mochos, located in the hills above Livermore, CA is home to many training courses, Cub Scout camping activities and Spring Camporees.
Rancho Los Mochos has many large camp areas, making it ideal for troop, as well as multi-troop functions.

Camp Riggs Johnston began life as a logging camp belonging to the Carson Lumber Company.
Camp Royaneh - SFBAC
BSA Summer Wilderness Camp - Cazadero CA
Camp Royaneh is located in the majestic coastal redwoods near Cazadero, CA. In addition to operating six weeks of Boy Scout residence camp,
two weeks of Webelos Adventure Camp, and one weekend of Family Vacation Camp, Royaneh is available for unit use throughout the year.
Summer camp programs include shooting ranges, Mountain Man and horsemanship.

BSA Summer Wilderness Camp near Willits
The 80 acre lake offers outstanding swimming, boating, and fishing. Other programs include rock climbing, shooting sports and horsemanship.
Facilies include An Archery Range, A Rifle Range, A Shotgun Range, Hiking Trails, Lake for swimming, great fishing, boating (canoes, rowboats, kayaks, and sailboats),
A climbing rock, Mountain bikes and trails, O’Riley’s Outpost black powder program.
Camp Winton - GEC
Mountain Aquatics Adventure at Bear River Reservoir
Aquatic activities are a specialty at Winton, with water-skiing, sailing and canoeing among those of special interest to scouts.
Overnight canoe treks are available for high adventure programs. BSA High Adventure program called "Mokelumne Expedition." Opened in 1958.
A first-year scout program, Air-Rifle target shooting, archery, arts and crafts, rock climbing, and nature round out the traditional program at Winton.
Camp Wolfeboro [MDSC]
BSA High Sierra Wilderness Camp
Located on the shores of the Stanislaus River near Bear Valley CA.
Currently, Camp Wolfeboro hosts upto 500 scouts per week for BSA Summer Camp.
In the Fall they host regular Venturing rock-climbing sessions.
Aquatic activities take place along the Stanislaus River waterfront and include swimming, canoeing and rowing.
Other facilities including target shooting ranges, nature study, scoutcraft and a number of hiking trails.
Special programs include the three day Summit Wilderness Trek, a great backpacking adventure for older scouts.

Boomers FunParks
Boomers is a popular place for kids entertainment and activities including gaming arcade, mini-golf, go-karts and kids cafe.
Special events include birthday celebrations, YMCA day camps and scout night.
U.S.S. Hornet Museum [CV-12]
Historic Aircraft Carrier that played a major part in the Pacific Sea Battles of World War II, the Vietnam War and was later
instrumental in the recovery of the Apollo 11 and 12 astronauts. Today this floating museum features ship tours
and exhibits of historic vintage and modern combat aircraft and weaponry and a exciting flight simulator ride.
Sleepover activities available for families and youth groups in the crew quarters with meals served in the mess hall.
