The Garden - paths wander through four major collections: Cultivated, Woodlands, Mediterranean and Desert Collections.

Mission San Juan Capistrano
Mission San Juan Capistrano is the seventh mission founded November 1, 1776, by early Franciscan priests. Today it is a monument to California’s multicultural history, embracing its Native American, Spanish, Mexican and European heritage. Originally built as a self sufficient community by Spanish padres and Indians, the Mission was a center for agriculture, industry, education and religion.

Newport Harbor Nautical Museum
Located aboard the 190-foot Pride of Newport, this museum preserves the local maritime heritage. Three thematic galleries focus on the recreational, naval, commercial and yachting significance of the harbor with maritime events of the Pacific. There is also a gift shop and restaurant.

Newport Sports Collection Foundation
5,000 square foot sports memorabilia museum with over 10,000 artifacts from sports history over the last two centuries.

Orange County Natural History Museum - Laguna Niguel
As Orange County rapidly develops through construction, its past is uncovered and brought to light. Both paleontological and archeological artifacts have been unearthed. Several historic and prehistoric artifacts as well as native animals found in the area are currently on display.

Orange County Ocean Institute - Dana Point CA
To learn about oceanography, science, and California history, students voyage onto the ocean, study in labs and live aboard tall ships or in the chaparral, where they can feel and taste the salty sea spray, sort through live specimens, observe migrating whales, collect scientific data and investigate the culture and world around them.

O'Neill Museum
San Juan Capistrano Historical Society

Located in the historic Garcia / Pryor house - one of the first frame homes built in 1880. Today the Museum also is the San Juan Capistrano Historical Society headquarters and the center of all its archives of photos, books, documents, maps, genealogical records, oral histories and much more.
