Cabazon Dinosaurs

Also referred to as Claude Bell's dinosaurs, these are enormous, sculptured roadside attractions located in Cabazon, California and visible to the immediate north of Interstate 10. The site features Dinny the Dinosaur, a 150-ton, larger than life-sized sculpture of an Apatosaurus and Mr. Rex, a 100-ton Tyrannosaurus rex. Started in the 1960s by Knott's Berry Farm sculptor and portrait artist Claude K. Bell to attract customers to his Wheel Inn Cafe which opened in 1958.

Cabot's Pueblo Museum

The museum in Desert Hot Springs is home to a unique Hopi inspired Pueblo hand-made by Cabot Yerxa over 24 years. This multi-level building includes 35 rooms, 150 windows and 65 doors, all crafted from found materials.

Reservation spans over 32,000 acres overlooking Banning Pass created in 1865. In 2004 they opened their giant gaming resort. The tribe invests in a number of local businesses in the area.
Thunder and Lightning Pow Wow [Sept] - Festival celebration of tribal heritage and traditions.

A huge water-bottling facility was established by Arrowhead Mountain Springwater (in partnership with the Morongo Band of Mission Indians) on the eastern edge on Cabazon in 2003.
