The museum is home to a unique Hopi inspired Pueblo hand-made by Cabot Yerxa over 24 years. This multi-level building includes 35 rooms, 150 windows and 65 doors, all crafted from found materials. The museum houses Cabot’s collection of Native American pottery, early 20th century photographs and artifacts from his Alaskan adventures. The museum grounds, including a picnic area, are beautifully landscaped with native plants and home to many rustic period items – early 1900’s tools, machinery and housegoods.

This gorgeous pool at one of the Desert's most exclusive resorts receives its hot water from a natural artesian well. Native Americans knew about this spot for many centuries and it was the proximity of the water to the surface that created this desert landmark, two bunches of palms.

The Living Desert
Desert zoological park and endangered species conservation center. Cabazon Dinosaurs
Also referred to as Claude Bell's dinosaurs, these are enormous, sculptured roadside attractions located in Cabazon, California and visible to the immediate north of Interstate 10. The site features Dinny the Dinosaur, a 150-ton, larger than life-sized sculpture of an Apatosaurus and Mr. Rex, a 100-ton Tyrannosaurus rex.

This course features some of the best mountain views of the Coachella Valley. This semi-private club has golf facilities that are open to the public. The four finishing holes are considered to be the four toughest finishing holes in the desert. Mission Lakes also has a range and a pitching and putting practice area. It sits adjacent to a Riviera style swimming pool and spas, just steps away from the Sandwedge Grill, serving Breakfast or Lunch. This course opened in 1971 with 6,737 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 71 .
