BSA Aquatics Summer Camp on Mission Bay
Located in Mission Bay at the San Diego Youth Aquatic Center - this facility
hosts weeklong summer camp programs for visiting boy scout troops with classes in
Sailing, Boardsailing, Motorboating, Kayaking, Model Rocketry, Swimming, Oceanography and other
classes not available at a typical boyscout mountain camp.
Mission Bay Park
Mission Bay Park, located midway between Downtown San Diego and La Jolla, is the largest man-made aquatic park in America.
14 miles of bike trails circle the Mission Bay area and is host to several bike races and triathlon events.
Recreational activities includes hiking and biking trails, playgrounds and swimming beaches.
A number of marina have boat charters and kayak facilities for scuba diving around the nearby islands.
Miles of bayside shoreline with facilities for picnicking, boating, camping and fishing.
Popular watersport activities include sailing, water-skiing, swimming, wind-surfing and jetbikes.
Mission Bay Sports Center
This 7000 Sq.ft. facility is a safe and fun environment for watersports enthusiasts.
Equipment available includes windsurfing, wakeboards, jetskis, kayaks, paddleboats, sailboats and catamarans.
Summer youth camp programs focus on aquatic activities and water safety.

UCSD Recreation Department
