Sprint Distance Competition / 1K Swim - 25K Bike - 5K Run. This Triathlon ranks in the World's top 5 Longest Running triathlons. The course begins at Tamarack Surf Beach, and follows the coastline of Carlsbad, past our scenic beaches, lagoons and wildlife preserve. It boasts a calm ocean swim, a rolling bike course and a smooth run for the finish. The Carlsbad Triathlon attracts competitors from all over the state.

San Dieguito Half Marathon
San Dieguito County Park [FEB] Only minutes from the ocean, this park is cooled by the sea breezes during warm summer months. Starts and ends at San Dieguito County Park. One of America's oldest half marathons runs a Scenic course through Rancho Santa Fe making it one of the most beautiful courses you will ever run.

Mission Trails Race 15K - Santee, 15K & 5K - Early Feb
Two challenging courses: 15k & 5k, featuring the beautiful and rugged scenery of Mission Trails Regional Park. Have a great day in the park, win awards, a t-shirt and raffle prizes! This race is held in Mission Trails Regional Park. The start is at the Equestrian Area which is at the intersection of Route 52 and Mast Blvd.
