Since 1957, Torrey Pines Golf Course has offered two of the most picturesque championship 18-hole golf courses in the world.
The PGA Tour visits at the beginning of each year with the Buick Invitational.
Facilities include one of the largest on-course golf shops in the United States, expert instruction, tournaments, and advanced golf packages.

Encompasses 2000 acres of coastal bluff, home to the protected rare Torrey Pines trees.
The Torrey pine is the rarest native pine in the United States. This preserve has oer eight miles of
trails that take you to the coastline and coastal lagoon. The Visitor Center opens daily at 9:00AM.
The reserve is a day-use park only. There is no overnight camping facility.
From Interstate 5, exit on Carmel Valley Road and drive west for 1.5 miles to the entrance of the North Beach parking lot: a popular access point for the State beach and Penasquitos Lagoon.

Located at the base of sandstone cliffs at Torrey Pines Mesa, this beach stretches 4 1/2 miles from Del Mar past Los Peñasquitos Lagoon.
Popular activities include Swimming, surfing and fishing. A picnic area and parking lot are near the entrance on North Torrey Pines Road.

Torrey Pines Glider Port Park lies within Torrey Pines City Park
on 300-foot oceanfront sandstone bluffs, located
at the south end of Torrey Pines State Reserve.
The park towers above Blacks Beach where the barren bluffs overlook Scripps Pier
and the scalloped coastline. The strong winds that strike the oceanfront
bluffs create updrafts, making it an ideal and popular hang gliding and paragliding area.
