Oakland California Temple
A familiar East Bay landmark is the 170-foot Oakland Temple.
This modern Mormon five-spire temple design features a Oriental Motif and a exterior finish of white Sierra granite.
On site is a public visitors' center with an inspiring reproduction of Thorvaldsen's Christus statue.
Also on the grounds is the East Bay Interstake Center—open to any who wish to attend Sunday services.

Sacramento Mormon Temple

The 123rd operating temple of the LDS Church features a classic-modern, single-spire design built
with a light gray granite exterior on a site just outside Sacramento overlooking Lake Natoma.
The 47-acre hilltop property is surrounded by majestic oak trees with scenic views of the nearby Sierra Nevada mountains.
This temple was dedicated in September 2006 by President Gordon B Hinckley.
