Hosts major NASCAR and NHRA Motorsports events: NASCAR SaveMart 350 (June), NHRA Nationals (July), Sonoma Grand Prix (Aug) and
Pinks All Out (Sep) and Historic Motorsports Festival (May). In addition to its slate of major events, Infineon Raceway is a year-round motorsports complex
with events scheduled 340 days and 50 weekends a year. More than one-half million fans pass through the gates each year.
Infineon Raceway first opened in 1968 as the then-Sears Point Raceway. It was constructed on 720 acres of property that was a working dairy farm in the early 1900s.
Since then, the facility has grown to 1,600 acres and expanded into one of the premier motor sports venues in the country.
The twists of the 12-turn road course and the lightning-quick quarter-mile drag strip have hosted all of the biggest names.
